Holistic education shapes minds, hearts, and character together

Project Aim: To impart and inculcate holistic education

Project Mission: To focus on overall growth and development of the students for greater and common good of the society

Over the years, we at Montram Foundation have seen and experienced what has been standardized and normalized in the name of education in our country, especially in remote areas where are the resources are limited. Education does not merely mean knowing how to read and write and become literate but rather in true sense it has a deeper meaning and goes much beyond it. Education is meant to play a crucial role in shaping the values and norms of society. It instils a sense of responsibility and citizenship, encouraging individuals to contribute to the common good. By promoting ethical behaviour and civic engagement, education should help build societies that are fair, inclusive, and democratic.

It needs to take care of the overall growth and development of the children that empowers, prepares and make them ready to take care of the communities/nation in the future.

To bridge the gap between intention of education and the ground reality, Montram Foundation has designed and implementing the “Shrestha Project”. This project is aimed to reach out to the communities where resources are limited and hence they are deprived of actual learning process.

Uniqueness of the Project

Uniqueness of the Project

Shrestha Project is not just another project to bombard the students with additional pressure of work but rather it aims to create a joyful learning experience through its unique curriculum. Students will just not be focused on completing the syllabus but rather will enjoy the process of learning through various modalities. Moreover, this will help the students in overall development, from value-based education to building self-confidence to become a good decision maker to name some. No doubt the students are the main beneficiary of the project but this will be achieved through involvement of the families, community and the teachers. Hence, we seek and look forward for funding so that we can implement the project as intended and contribute to the greater good for our societies and nation.
